Hoya buntokensis comes from Kalimantan (Borneo Island) from the Buntok city.
Hoya buntokensis is an extremely interesting hoya that lives in symbiosis with ants - thanks to this the leaves can grow very diverse. Leaves "House for ants" are wide, compact and inclined downwards, the others are much narrower and longer. They color amazingly in a sunny position.
